Turtle Beach Santa Cruz drivers?
My aural vortex card worked fine, then I put in the santa cruz and I get the machine gun-sound (tat-tat-ta-ta-ta-tat at various pitches). I downloaded the 20mb xp2k drivers from the turtle beach website. They installed fine. They work fine on my win2k install, but give the same machine gun affect under xp.

OTH, the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz is 5.1 capable and outputs to any 5.1 system if you spend a few bucks a Radio Shack for the appropriate cables. This coupled with many other issues with in reality a poorly designed card has me regretting buying the card and now looking very seriously at the Santa Cruz.

Turtle Beach Santa Cruz upgrade from SB Live?
The only one I know of that works properly so far is the Santa Cruz from Turtle Beach. My roommate has a copy of XP and has had problems getting the SB Live software to work right, I've got a Santa Cruz, running the beta drivers on 320MB of RAM so I'm not having the problem that was showing up with Win2K drivers
